Belgaum: Suresh Angadi, who is the state minister of railways, will take necessary steps to construct his memorial, Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said.
He spoke to journalists when he arrived at the Sambra airport to comfort the Angadi’s family.
A memorial will be erected on the spot where his body was buried in New Delhi. I will provide the necessary grants for this. I have instructed the authorities to prepare for this. “It is my duty to build the monument,” he said.
Suresh Angadi is not even imagining that he is not with us. As a four-time MP, he has contributed immensely to the state as railway account minister. “I have told him many times that Jafar Sharif is doing a good job in railways.”
Yeddyurappa condolences to Angadi’s family
Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa met the family of Suresh Angadi, Minister of State for Railways, who passed away here on Wednesday.
At a residence on Sampige Road, Vishweshwarayya town, Angadi mother Somawwa, his wife Mangala, his daughters Shraddha, inspired him. Industry Minister Jagadish Shettar and Home Minister Basavaraja Bommai were present.
