Shri Thanedar, who had lost his job for MSc, was elected to the US Parliament

Belgaum: Shri Thanedar, a scientist and wealthy businessman elected to the US House of Representatives from Michigan, has a bright morning. M.Sc. Having lost his bank job to pursue a master’s degree, he has now set up his own business and has employed hundreds of others.

He was born in Sharapur’s Meerapur Galli, and though he was a modest family man, he came to be known as a wealthy businessman. Being one of a family of six children, he was aware of the importance of education and money from an early age. At Chintamanarao High School, he scored 55 per cent marks in Essences.

At age 18, he joined a bank in Vijayapura. While working It was a desire to graduate. However, the principal of Dharwad College did not grant him permission. He had received permission from the Chancellor to question it. On the other hand, the bank officials refused to grant him 15 days leave. However, he is pursuing his M.Sc. Attended the examination. The bank had shared with the local website during its visit a decade ago that the bank had fired him without permission.

In 1977, he received a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Bombay. He moved to the US in 1979 and has remained there ever since. In PhD in polymer chemistry in 1982 Has earned a degree. From 1982 to 1984, he worked at the University of Michigan (as a Pos- Doctoral Scholar). From 1984 to 1990, he worked at the Petrolite Corporation as a polymer synthesis chemist and project leader. Then become a businessman by starting his own business. The 65-year-old had also run for governor in the US two years ago.
