Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that the conference with his British counterpart PM Boris Johnson was meaningful. He said that during this time, the ambitious roadmap 2032 was adopted to broaden India-UK relations to a broader strategic partnership.
PM Modi further said- We welcomed the commencement of an enhanced trade partnership as a roadmap for a comprehensive FTA with the goal of more than doubling bilateral trade by 2030. We also agreed on many new initiatives in health, technology, energy, etc.
Here, on the digital meeting between Prime Minister Modi and UK Prime Minister Johnson, the Ministry of External Affairs said that the India-UK summit opened a new chapter in bilateral relations. He said that the major achievement of the Modi-Johnson summit is the introduction of ‘Roadmap 2030’ to further strengthen India-UK relations.
