The Indian Premier League Governing Council and the Board of Control for Cricket in India have suspended the IPL 2021 season after some IPL players were found to be Corona positive. After the suspension of the IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad player David Warner shared an emotional message sent to him on social media by the family to come back.
The Australian opener is currently in Delhi. Warner’s wife and his three children are eagerly waiting for him to return home. Warner posted a picture of the message in which his daughters wrote, “Please Daddy, get you back straight back home. We miss you so much and love you so much. A lot from Ivy, Indie Isla Love.”
Many IPL players are corona infected
In recent days, it was decided to postpone the 14th IPL edition to find Covid-19 positive for many players and members of the franchise. Test positives of two KKR players Sandeep Warrier and Varun were met before the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Soon after, three members of the Chennai Super Kings franchise were also found positive, including L Balaji. After this, the test of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals’ Amit Mishra also came positive.
Australia has banned international flights from India till 15 May
It is also difficult for David Warner and other Australian players to return home as Australia has banned international flights from India till 15 May. However Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers’ Association issued a statement saying that they will ensure that every Australian player involved in the IPL returns to safe house
