After the review meeting, the Chief Minister of Delhi informed that in the last 24 hours, more than 24 thousand cases of Corona have been recorded. He also informed that action will be taken against those lab operators who are taking samples in excess of capacity.
Kejriwal said that 24 thousand cases have come in the last 24 hours, whose detailed report will be released in a while. Now the positivity rate here has been more than 24 percent. Now the situation is quite serious, it is worrying. Now, there is a shortage of oxygen and remdesivir inside Delhi.
There is a shortage of these three things in Delhi
Kejriwal said that the things which we had earlier on this meeting were in sufficient quantity, now they have started lacking. Three of them are lacking in oxygen, ramdesvir and another drug.
Every system has its limits
Kejriwal said that any health infrastructure has its limitations. There is also a limit of hospitals, beds, ICUs in Delhi. The speed with which it is growing has a limit of every medical system which starts to decrease after a time. Oxygen and ICU beds are ending fast but the government is increasing the number of beds continuously.
Kejriwal told that in the coming four-five days we will increase the beds rapidly. Our main objective at this time is to provide oxygen to the patient. Whatever beds we are preparing now, we are trying to make oxygen beds so that serious patients of a certain extent can be admitted and given treatment.
The Chief Minister informed that about 1300 oxygen beds are being arranged in Yamuna Sports Complex and Common Wealth Village. Radhaswami is arranging 2500 beds in Satsang Beas initially and then will arrange 2500 beds in a few days.
