Bijapur Encounter: PM Modi said on Bijapur encounter, martyrdom of soldiers will never be forgotten

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed grief over the martyrdom of security personnel in an encounter with Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, saying that his sacrifice will never be forgotten. The PM said that his condolences are with the family of the soldiers.

In a tweet on Saturday night, Modi said, ‘My condolences are with the families of the soldiers who were martyred while fighting the Maoists in Chhattisgarh. The sacrifices of the brave martyrs will never be forgotten. Wish the injured well soon. ‘ Five security personnel were killed and 12 others were injured in an encounter with Naxalites in a forest between Bijapur and Sukma districts of Chhattisgarh on Saturday, police officials said.

The body of a female Maoist was also recovered from the encounter site by security forces. At the same time, IG P ​​Sundararajan of Bastar Range said that at least 9 more Naxalites were killed, 15 Naxalites were injured. We need time to confirm this, there were 250 Naxalites there.
