There is a stampede in the Trinamool Congress (TMC) ahead of the assembly elections in West Bengal. Leaders like suvendu adhikari and Jitendra Tiwari are leaving the party. It is expected that he will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). At the same time, BJP MP Babul Supriyo, who comes from West Bengal, does not want leaders like Jitendra Tiwari to come to the party. Asansol MP Babul Supriyo has written a post on Facebook opposing Jitendra Tiwari.
Union Minister Babul Supriyo posted on Facebook that I am writing this because some people are trying to spread rumors that I have done under-table dealing with TMC leaders of Asansol and now they are trying to join BJP.Let me clearly state that I will not betray my colleagues in the party by doing any such dealings. Babul Supriyo said that our BJP colleagues have fought to defeat TMC from Asansol.
The BJP MP wrote that whatever decision the party leadership takes is a different thing, but I will try to ensure with all my strength and sincerity that any TMC leader who harms our allies should not enter the BJP meet. We have the support of the people of Asansol.
Babul Supriyo wrote that the recent action on the coal / sand mafias of the region proves that I am truly wholehearted in my endeavor to do justice to Asansol. After the formation of BJP government in 2021, we will try to give a clean peaceful life to the youth here.
