New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given big information about the corona vaccination in Delhi. In a press conference, he told that at this time one lakh people are being given a vaccine dose every day in Delhi. Regarding vaccination, the Chief Minister said that Delhi needs three crore vaccines. He said that there is a shortage of vaccines in Delhi right now. During this, he told that Delhi has received 40 lakh vaccines so far. During his press conference, he told that people from nearby areas are also coming to Delhi and taking the vaccine.
Kejriwal’s opinion on vaccination of children
Regarding the vaccination of people below 18 years, he said, “There is an appeal to all experts and the central government to arrange for a vaccine for children below 18 years soon.” Today we have 5–6 days of vaccine left in Delhi.
‘Vaccine shortage in Delhi’
Arvind Kejriwal said, “Today there is a lot of vaccines, if we get enough vaccine then we want to vaccinate the whole of Delhi in three months.” If there are 1.5 crore people over the age of 18 in Delhi, then 3 crore vaccines are needed. The Delhi government has so far received a total of 40 lakh vaccines.
Get the right amount of vaccine
The Chief Minister said, “For the next 3 months we need 80-85 lakh vaccines every month. We are applying one lakh vaccines every day, we have to apply 3 lakh vaccines every day. We can comfortably have a capacity of 3 lakh vaccines. The Central Government is requested to provide vaccines in appropriate quantity to us. ”
CM Kejriwal said, “We have arranged vaccination in about 100 schools, in the coming time they will increase it to 250-300 schools. Today, 50,000 vaccines are being given to people under 45 years of age and 50,000 vaccines to people above 45 years of age in Delhi. ”
